Install

Download application's debian package from https://garage.maemo.org/projects/gps-camera/ to your device or PC. If you download it to PC you must copy it to memory card of the device. Double clicked the package through File manager so it starts to install.

Take photo at camera view and save it to MyDocs/.images/gpscamera


Delete selected photo at gallery view


Browse back or forward at gallery view


Upload to flickr or (send photo at v.0.5) at gallery view


Change camera view or gallery view



GPS icons


GPS ON

If GPS data is successfully received, this icon is shown at the camera view.


GPS OFF

If GPS data doesn't successfully received, this icon is shown at the camera view.

If photo includes GPS data, this icon is shown at the gallery view. Two is photo's number and ten tells how many photos is in the camera directory.

How to upload photo to Flickr


Uploading photos to Flickr requires that your have Flickr/Yahoo account (if you haven't so get account) and Internet connection. If your photo has GPS data, it is required that you login to Flickr with mini-token. Photo without GPS data can been sent to Flickr by email too (new feature in v.0.5).

You get mini-token by selecting mini-token radio button and click OK at “Upload” -dialog. Then you have to select link “Get mini-token” so login of Flickr opens at browser. Input your user name and password of Flickr account and allow GPS-Camera links to your Flickr account at next web page. After that you get mini-token which includes nine numbers. Input these numbers to entry of GPS-Camera's “Login to Flickr” -dialog. If login succeed you can input photo's title and description if you want. Wait when photo is uploaded.

If you want to send photo by email to Flickr (or friends etc.), select Email radio button and OK at “Upload” -dialog. E-mail application is started and photo which is wanted to send is as attachment. You should have been Flickr email where you send photo. If you haven't see http://www.flickr.com/account/uploadbyemail/ . Input title of the photo to subject field and description of the photo to message. See privacy levels on photos if you want define privacy levels of your photos.
